“A blinding flash ……. A shattering sound……crumpling walls…. Breaking pots…..Death”
Nowadays it is a common feature in India. People are dieing without water. What is the reason behind it? Environmentalists in our country are outranged because of deforestation, and they are fighting for the preservation of natural resources in our country.
Bangalore City, the garden city of India is also suffering from great water problem. The majority of the population in the city is depending up on the corporation water which is like a ‘Mahaballi’ and famous because of its irregularity and its impure, because of that people in Bangalore started depending on tankers and which is emerging as a business in the city and the water is now considered as more valuable than gold.
How can a man imagine life without water? It is impossible for a man, a day without water…… It is not only in Bangalore but also, all over India we are facing this water problem.
In this situation the preservation of natural resources are very important. But in our country, we are loosing our natural resources in an alarming rate. Deforestation, industrialization, urbanization etc….added the identity of the problem. As a result our country once she was a land of vegetarians is turning to the most insecure place for living because of overpopulation and water problems.
Our rivers once it was the birthplace for our civilizations are turning into salty troches.
Studies have shown that if we are not preserving the remaining eco-system, India will suffer serious water problems by 2010.
We had abundance amount of natural resources and we are converting that abundance into scarcity.
